Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Remulous Labs LLC ("Remulous Labs," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with our websites, data products, and APIs (the "Services").
1. Information we collect
We aim to collect as little personal information as possible. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include:
- Contact information you provide directly, such as an email address when you contact us.
- Account and billing information processed by the marketplace through which you subscribe (e.g., RapidAPI). We generally receive only the limited account identifiers needed to provision and meter your access; payment card details are handled by the marketplace, not by us.
- Usage and technical data, such as API request metadata, IP address, timestamps, and rate-limit counters, used to operate, secure, and meter the Services.
2. Information in our data products
Our data products are compiled from primary public sources, including government records and official filings. Some of these public records may contain information about individuals (for example, the names of public officials in financial-disclosure filings). We republish such information solely as it appears in, or as normalized from, the underlying public source. We are not the originator of these records.
3. How we use information
We use the limited information we collect to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Services; to meter and bill usage; to respond to inquiries; to detect and prevent abuse; and to comply with legal obligations.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with service providers who help us operate the Services (such as hosting and marketplace partners), or when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of the Services.
5. Data retention
We retain operational and usage data only as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by law, after which it is deleted or aggregated.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information in our control. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and requests
You may contact us at legal@remulouslabs.com to ask about the information we hold, to make a request regarding your personal information, or to raise a concern about a public record represented in our data products. We will respond consistent with applicable law.
8. International users
The Services are operated from the United States. If you access them from elsewhere, you understand that information may be processed in the United States.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
